What if YOU could be part of a group that raises $10,000 for a Cleveland Nonprofit in under 1 hour?

100 Women Who Care CLE-Eastside is based on the simple concept of bringing women together to make a large impact on our local community.  As individuals it can be challenging to make a meaningful contribution, but as a group we can harness our power for maximum impact.  In one hour your $100 check becomes a $10,000 gift!

It’s local.  It’s simple.  It’s powerful.

Announcing a Men's Group!

100+ Men Who Care about Cleveland

Meeting time: 530-630p, March 15 at Cleveland Racquet Club

Please attend this Kickoff Meeting of 100+ Men Who Care about Cleveland. It will be worth just a bit of your time. If you can't attend, still join and commit here. And attend our Q2 Meeting in a couple of months.

Why? Join this group to easily and quickly raise money for your favorite local charity and others and have fun doing it. Please get your friends, other donors to your favorite charities, board members of charities and other charitable folks to attend and join = more $ for your charity! Share this invite.

Who? David Brown, Troy Budgen and Ben Calkins started this group this month. 100+ Men is not an organization and has no overhead. We just facilitate the giving process. We figured that there are 3 or 4 women's only groups in NEO, a successful 150 member men's group in Columbus, so why not a men's group here? There is a lot of need (for foster children, addiction, elderly care, poverty, environment, animals to name a few needs) so let's try to make a high impact in a low cost, high fun effort. We want as many men as possible to commit so that as a group we can raise the most $ possible.

Note: This group is not "our" group. We are not organizing it to benefit us or charities we support. We are starting it to give us and others a better chance to make a positive financial impact quickly in our community. We hope you'll join in.

  1. Commit to a quarterly donation of $100, at 100+ Men Who Care Fund or at the meeting by signing a form and writing a check to the winning charity
  2. Nominate a local 501c3 charity, if you want
  3. 3 nominated charities are randomly picked to pitch
  4. Pitch your charity if picked
  5. Every member (a member is one who has committed) votes for one charity
  6. The winning charity wins $100 per member. If have 100 members, that charity wins $10,000
  7. Repeat the same process next quarter
What a great way to maximize impact and minimize hassles. No “the check is in the mail.” No treasurer. No keeper of the cash. No operational budget. No planning meetings that last an eternity. No walks, races, auctions, dinners or dances to attend. Just one 60-minute meeting four times a year.

Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed people to change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has.
